Ripples of Joy Crochet Throw
Whether you're celebrating Christmas in July or the actual holiday, this Ripples of Joy Crochet Throw will come in handy for some bright decoration. Though this crochet ripple pattern is joyfully festive, it's not overly Christmassy either.
The sharp chevron pattern features traditional red and green but also includes softer, less Christmas-heavy colors like white, pink, and sage. It looks more like Christmas candy than a Christmas tree. It's an easy pattern to work up any time of year in preparation for Santa.

NOTES:
Throw is made in a ripple pattern which consists of a series of 3-stitch "peaks" and 2-skipped-stitch "valleys", with 12 dc worked between peaks and valleys. You may need to work several rows before the ripple is clearly visible.
To change color, work last stitch of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete stitch. Proceed with new color. Cut old color.
To lengthen the throw, repeat Rows 2–25. Lengthening the throw may require the purchase of additional yarn.
