"Need a quick last minute baby gift? This super simple 7 row repeat pattern uses one skein of Caron One Pound yarn and works up quick. Finished blanket measures approximately 32”x 38”. Materials: 1 skein Caron One Pound Yarn J-Hook Scissors Needle Abbreviations: SK= Skip CH = Chain SC = Single Crochet HDC = Half Double Crochet DC = Double Crochet Note: The CH 3 at the beginning of Rows 2-6 counts as your first DC of the Row. Do not work into the first Stitch with an additional DC. "

Crochet HookJ/10 or 6 mm hook

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Instructions

To Begin CH 103 ROW 1: HDC in third CH from the hook and across (102 ST counting your beginning ST created by skipping the first 2 CHs) ROW 2 & 3: CH 3 and turn, *one DC in each of the next 9, CH 1/SK 1, REPEAT from * 8 more times, one DC in each of the last 10 STs. ROW 4: CH 3 and turn, *one DC in each of the next 4, CH 1/SK 1, one DC in each of the next 4, CH 1/SK 1, REPEAT from * 8 more times, one DC in each of the next 4, CH 1/SK 1, one DC in each of the last 5 STs. ROW 5 & 6: CH 3 and turn, *one DC in each of the next 9, CH 1/SK 1, REPEAT from * 8 more times, one DC in each of the last 10 STs. ROW 7: CH 1 and turn (does not count as first ST) HDC in each ST across (102) From this point on Row 1 will be the same as Row 7. Repeat Rows 1-7 nine times for a total of ten Panels. After you have completes Row 7 for the tenth time you will begin your trim.

Edging

CH 1 and turn, SC in every stitch across, place an extra SC in every corner, working along the sides place 2 SC in the ends of the DC rows and 1 SC in the ends of the HDC rows. Repeat along the bottom and opposite side. SL to your beginning CH 1, cut your yarn, tie off, and sew in your ends.
