With colored stripes and a textured crochet diamond pattern, this Diamonds and Stripes Afghan is the best of all afghan styles. Warm brown tones give an earthy, autumn look to this blanket. Using the half double crochet stitch and the bobble stitch, this is one of the most versatile afghan crochet patterns. When the family is all home for Thanksgiving, this is the perfect afghan to cozy up with.

What a complicated way to do the half double crochet stitch. This Diamonds and Stripes Afghan is so beautiful you thought stripes can only be done in fabrics. This is perfect for a Father's Day present of a brother's birthday or a going away gift when he enters college. Thanks for the free pattern.
