If I wanted to make this larger for an adult instead of for a baby, how many chains would I need to make for an adult afghan? This pattern looks so pretty and I would love to try making one for myself. Thank you for posting this and looking forward for a response. Sincerely, Kathy

I made this for a 4 yo niece. I used 11 colors (all from my stash) and made it 39x48 to go nicely on a child's bed. It was easy though it took a while (with so many stitches to make a bobble) but it was well worth it. It turned out great.

Beautiful Blanket! Your tutorial is easy to follow. I think I will try this for my next baby blanket project. Thanks for sharing Kathy

i think that your bobble stitch is great!!!!!

this is a wonderful pattern I am making a US Flag using this stich it is really cool

This one is definitely my choice. I love bobbles and sick of squares/motifs. There is a world of crocheting without them.

This is my favourite of the 2 because I love the texture and the general overall look of it. It's also the one I'm working on right now and that's the one that's always my favourite!!!!

I have to say, the first time I saw this blanket as a wip, I grabbed my yarn and started working on one myself!! While the other afghan is also pretty, I do love the texture of this particular item!! This is my choice, for sure.
