I don't understand why people are saying this project Violates United States Flag Code! It's a Afghan for heaven sakes.. I love this American Flag Afghan! The pattern is well written and sounds easy enough to make. I do wonder why there are only 32 stars? I take it there isn't enough room for all 50. ? Oh well, it will still look great and be a nice warm afghan to snuggle up with. I'm looking forward to making this one. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

Does anyone have a pattern for a peace sign afghan??

I have made 11 of this pattern and donated them to various groups for fundraising. They have all gone to either Veteran's groups or to Shriner's except one that I gave to my son when he came back from Iraq. They are easy and beautiful to make!!!
